The F10BT stands atop Pioneer's range of AVIC navigation head-units and boasts a 7-inch resistive touchscreen. Featuring a matte surface, the F10BT's screen is viewable under all lighting conditions — night, solar eclipse, bright daylight, impending nova, whatever. The screen can be mechanically tilted to five different angles, which drivers with stereo slots low down in the dash will appreciate. Depending on their disposition, drivers will either be thankful for or curse the customisable loading screen while patiently waiting 14.5 seconds for the F10BT to start up.

Despite the piano black bezel it's not a particularly distinctive looking device, as the screen practically takes all the frontage available on the double-DIN stereo. The unit's most prominent feature, screen aside, is its Jay Leno-esque chin that houses the unit's only physical controls. At times, though, the prominent chin made it difficult to tap some of the on-screen buttons. Whether your car's controls are backlit a shade of sunset orange, generic green, pure white, Gatorade blue or anything in between, there's a set of RGB sliders that will allow you to adjust the buttons' backlighting to suit.

Pioneer AVIC-D3

The new AVIC-D3 is Pioneer's latest phase in the evolution of their popular AVIC in-dash navigation systems.

Key features include: XM NavTraffic integration, voice prompting, telephone number search, and a bunch of entertainment features like support for both XM and Sirius Satellite Radio, CD/DVD playback, iPod Direct, iPod video support and expanded Bluetooth capabilities including wireless audio streaming.

The AVIC-D3 fits into a standards double-din dash opening, and rocks a beautiful 6.1 inch display with eight built-in illumination colors, and the option to choose from 32,000 other color variations (allowing the unit to match pretty much any vehicle on the road).

Pioneer's AVIC-D3 provides mapping and routes for the entire United States and Canada, with detailed mapping and detailed lane information in 50 cities. Included in the system are about 12 million points of interest like ATMs, gas stations, hotels and restaurants, which can be overlaid directly onto the map. The system utilizes 59 brand icons for quick identification of familiar POIs.

With the optional traffic tuner, the GEX-P10XMT, and a XM NavTraffic subscription, you can receive real-time alert of current traffic incidents and traffic flow conditions, by overlaying the information onto the map screen with flashing lines and icons, and providing an alternative route around the obstruction.

XM and Sirius Satellite Radio are both available options in the AVIC-D3, and the front-panel mounted mini-jack A/V input allows the addition to other attached components such as camcorders, gaming devices or music players.

The Pioneer AVIC-D3 will MSRP for $1000, and is expected to be available in March.



AVIC-D3 is a Double-DIN (it’s twice the size of a normal single-DIN CD tuner) GPS and entertainment system designed to integrate perfectly with your car’s interior; you can even customise the colour of the illumination.

The system has a 6.1 inch colour touch screen that is incredibly intuitive and easy-to-use; menu’s are dynamic, giving you quick and easy access to the functions you need at the time you need them.

The heart of the D3 is an advanced navigation system. You get full map coverage of 26 European countries; that’s over 7.5 million kilometres of road and over 1.5 million points of interest.

The D3 always knows where you are; even if there is a weak GPS signal. A 3D Gyro Sensor continually monitors your cars movements; so the D3 is quick to respond and reroute; there’s no delay when you’re trying to find your way.

You can avoid the traffic jams, too; the D3 has a built-in TMC (Traffic Messaging Channel) receiver, which alerts you to black spots and gives you several alternative routes, depending on your requirements.
And the D3 is compatible with just about everything. You can bring your digital lifestyle in car. Play DVDs, MP3 music, DivX videos, CDs and more; or with optional accessories, you can connect your iPod, Bluetooth phone or a TV Tuner.
There’s also a front aux. in which means you can connect almost any digital music player directly to the front of the system.

Pioneer's latest DVD AV headunit — the AVH-P6600DVD — is a full-featured 1-DIN car stereo with built-in AV master, DVD player, a fully motorised 6.5-inch touch panel display and powerful audio features. Its flashy new Graphical User Interface with hexagon-shaped on-screen buttons and matching menu visuals is a sight to behold. Users will be amazed by the music-synched entertainment graphics with captivating text data visuals and updated AV menus.
The ultra-slim built-in DVD/CD player is compatible with all the latest digitally encoded discs: DVD-Video, DVD-R/DVD-RW, VideoCD, CD-R/CD-RW, and the popular MP3 and WMA files. High-quality audio is guaranteed thanks to the MOSFET 50 amplifier and the Hi-Volt pre-outs which enable external amplifiers to be easily connected. The Dual Zone function allows front passengers to listen to the built-in AM/FM tuner, an optional DAB tuner or multi-CD player, while rear passengers enjoy a separate AV source in the back. For super-realistic multi-channel surround sound reproduction of those AV sources, this headunit can be connected to the DEQ-P6600 Multi-Channel Digital Signal Processor.
The high-quality, touch panel display ensures fast and easy operation of all audio/video functions, as well as seamless control of enhanced navigation features, when paired with the AVIC-900DVD or AVIC-800DVD Pioneer DVD Cyber Navi unit. For that extra convenient touch: when the AVH-P6600DVD's motorised display is closed, the 10-character sub-display shows the audio/video status.

The P5900 is a powerful multi-media system that you can either use as a standalone audio, video player, or as the base for a complete 5.1 multi-channel in-car cinema system.

The large, 7-inch foldaway screen is fully-motorised. It’s touch-panel, too, so you can easily control all functions with a light touch on-screen.

You can enjoy almost all commercially available digital entertainment formats, including DivX movies; and even connect your iPod (for music and video) directly with our optional CD-I200 cable.

The system includes our IP Bus connection, which means that you can truly expand your setup. Add a Bluetooth adapter (CD-BTB200), for example, and make and receive calls wirelessly via the system.

Alternatively, you can add our DEQ-P6600 digital signal processor to enjoy your movies in true 5.1 multi-channel surround sound. You can even add screens for passengers in the back.

The P5900 is a versatile system that gives you total entertainment flexibility.
